RHINO CEROS
In this class we learned how to work with Rhino 3D to later print in 3D machines. Specifically we learned how to design a flexible structure made with plastic, which later can be applied to accessories, clothing or any other purpose that is not necessarily related to fashion, although in this case it will be related to fashion because of the course.
Rhino can create, edit, analyze, document, render, animate and translate NURBS curves, surfaces and solids, subdivision geometry (SubD), point clouds and polygon meshes. There is no limit to complexity, grade or size, other than what your hardware possesses.
Special features:
Unlimited free-form 3D modeling tools, found only in products costing 20 to 50 times as much. With Rhino you can model any shape imaginable.
Accuracy needed for design, prototyping, engineering, analysis and manufacturing of any product from aviation to jewelry.
Compatibility with most design, drafting, CAM, engineering, prototyping, analysis, rendering, animation and illustration programs.
Reads and repairs complicated mesh and IGES files.
Accessible. So easy to learn and use that you can get on with design and visualization without having to worry about the software.
Fast, even on a regular laptop. No special hardware required.
Development platform for hundreds of specialized 3D products.
Low cost. Common hardware. Short learning curve. Affordable price. No maintenance fees.
Rhino for Mac: The world's most versatile 3D modeler, available for macOS.
Rhino possibilities
The first thing to do would be to build the bases on which the structure rests with a 2D drawing and then start drawing it in 3D by building the vertical walls.
Once the 3D model is prepared with Rhino we have to export it to be able to transfer the file to the printer and proceed with the 3D printing.
The 3D printer- sharebot
