DESIGN PRINT
With the Cricut machine it is also possible to create prints and designs that are stuck to the textile with an iron to decorate a textile.
The material
Cricut Joy Adhesive Vinyl Smart is a special type of vinyl to work with cut and to be able to land on all kinds of surfaces and work with it in many different ways. It is used with the Cricut machines which I have explained in the "Cricut" workshop.
INFLATABLE
In this class we learned how to make inflatables with Cricut Joy Adhesive Vinyl Smart (very important that it is smart). A type of inflatable applicable to fashion, either as a garment, accessory, footwear, bags, etc. these inflatables can be made in many possible ways, but in our case we have to take into account the measures of the machine with which we work that was 50x50 and based on these measures also take into account the outer margins for the material to adhere properly. Next I will proceed to explain in more detail the steps to follow:
First step
The first step would be to cut the material with a size of 50x50, two pieces, which can be of different colors, but it is important that the material contains glue so that later one piece can be adhered to the other.
Second step
Create the file with the shape we want to cut. Then pass it to the Cricut machine and proceed with the cutting of both pieces.
Once we have the cut done we must carefully separate the excess part and proceed to join one piece with the other.
A layer of waxed paper is added in between the two vinyls to allow air to pass through.
Third step
Finally, once we have the pieces glued and the leftovers removed, the next step would be to proceed to inflate the piece, for this we will have previously left a small "tunnel" that goes from the outside to where the air would go about 0.70 cm to be able to insert a small tuno to transport the air inside. The following would be to proceed with the inflation and we would have already finished.
